Using only professional grade ESTHETIC Skin Institute Care Products, Boston Electrology & Skin Therapies offers gentle, non-toxic light to medium range chemical facial peel treatments, and physician supervised medical grade peels.
Our chemical facial peels will stimulate, firm and tighten the skin. ESTHETIC products offer a wide range of patented superficial chemical peels using a blend of alpha & beta hydroxy acids to address all varieties of skin types, including black skin, (or Type VI skin), and conditions, including acne and rosacea.
How the chemical skin peel works
Several days after your chemical facial peel treatment you'll notice a slight flaking of the skin, much like after a sunburn has faded and begins to flake. This is a natural part of the chemical peel process that allows your new, revitalized skin to be revealed.
Your After-Treatment Care:
We will recommend a super moisturizer that will help minimize the appearance of the flaking which lasts from four to seven days. Amount of flaking varies from individual to individual.
