John R. Raftery, M.D. Medical Director and Laser Specialist
As Medical Director to Boston Electrology and Skin Therapies, Dr. Raftery is also a member of our staff Laser Technologists, providing both Laser Hair Removal Services, Skin Rejuvenation, the latest, safest laser treatment for improving the appearence of skin tissue, and our newest Laser Skin Care service, Spider Vein Reduction. He is a certified technician in the use of the Palomar® and the Aurora® laser systems, and received his laser skin rejuvenation training from the co-creators of the technique: Drs. Bitter and Mulholland.
A magna cum laude graduate of Brown University, and graduating in the top 10% of his medical school class from the University of Rochester, Dr. Raftery has been a practicing primary care physician in the Boston area since 1994.
